We were absolutely thrilled to style and plan the Masonmill Open Evening, bringing the space to life with a stunning styled shoot in collaboration with the incredibly talented Norman Yap Photography. For those who haven’t yet experienced his work, Norman is one of our trusted photography partners, celebrated for his calm, editorial storytelling. He doesn’t just capture how your wedding looks, he captures how it feels, bringing emotional awareness and a quiet, unobtrusive presence to every moment.
The star of the show? Masonmill’s Crabapple Space. Nestled in front of the restaurant, this stunning open-air ceremony space is framed by a lush green archway and surrounded by enchanting gardens and florals. It’s an intimate, dreamy setting, perfect for micro-weddings of around 50 guests. For the shoot, we styled a long table under the archway for 32 guests, embracing a French garden vibe, soft, elegant, but with a touch of colour and fun.
Florals by Bohemian Flowers brought the space to life with gorgeous pink-toned blooms and candles adorning the reception table and ceremony arbour. Draping in soft pink and white added an ethereal touch, while styled figs on the table added a playful, unexpected element we absolutely loved.
Our shoot team was nothing short of amazing. Working seamlessly with Norman, Mel and our models Kim and Zeke, everything came together effortlessly. Catleya created an elegant hair and makeup look, while Bscene by Bec captured the most personal, breathtaking content. Every detail, from the gown by Dion for Brides to the table styling, was thoughtfully curated to highlight the magic of the space.
The open evening event was a dream! So many excited couples toured the venue, soaking in every corner of Masonmill. Lara from Claret & Co treated guests to a wine tasting featuring Masonmill’s exclusive wine list, showcasing some of the Perth Hills’ finest wines. Ryan from That Wedding Piano set the mood with the most stunning live music, creating an atmosphere that felt both elegant and inviting. Our team loved connecting with every couple, sharing wedding inspiration and guiding them as they imagined their perfect day in the breathtaking Masonmill venue.
